about

The first collection of studio-improvised works created during my Community Tracks residency at the Bemis Center of Contemporary Art. Recorded on a misted, cold weekend in September, myself and a handful of the best improvisers in the state came to the Bemis’s Low End Studio to lay sound for an upcoming film-installation. Once the goals of the project were met, we freely improvised amongst each other in different configurations. After recording, the tracks were further fleshed in my home studio.

a sight out the window, longingly
constructed
abstractions. reverberate
into smeared clouds of metal and grains
A squeaky wheel runs ‘round the block
